Dark night, dark times. A myriad of words, thoughts and images buzz around between independently thinking and acting characters. This oscillation between the real now, memories and imagined worlds of thought gives rise to a sense of approximate simultaneity. The artist Anna Altmeier and the designer Lorenzo Conti have conceived, sketched, edited and finally produced this unique book in silent union. The logic of the printing process was turned on its head. Light is printed, represented in the book as silver. The black of the paper forms the basis. Only in this way can the light of the photograph, the glow of the words be made to shine.
